Build Back Better is an insurance industry scheme run through Flood Re. Participating insurers (including Aviva, AXA, NFU Mutual, Ageas, and others) offer up to £10,000 for property flood resilience measures when repairing after a flood — on top of the standard claim. This can cover the full cost difference between standard MDF and Sealwise WCB.
Note: Government PFR grants (up to £5,000) may also be available through your local authority after specific flood events. Check with your council for eligibility.
